Welcome to the forum! :welcome:

I'm going to move your thread over to the snow removal section. Someone over there should know.

Welcome aboard. I used a generic light duty back blade (7' I think) for snow removal with our 8n for years before we got the Kubota. It worked fine for the most part. The main problem was the lack of live hydraulics, meaning when you have the clutch in, you can't lift your blade. Not the end of the world, and it sure beats a shovel, but not the best tractor for the job.

In answer to your question, though, if all you're doing is snow removal, the cheapest one on Craigslist should do the job. Especially if you know how to weld.

Good luck!

You generally want to "pull" with a back blade;pushing can get expensive.Any light duty 7ft.er will work for snow removal.

Yup, a 3pt is made to pull, not push. They can push & many people push in reverse. There are also a lot of posts on here about people bending their 3pts when pushing & catching something.

Any light duty back blade properly angled will get the job done if your tractor has enough ground clearance & traction.
