A good quality Log Splitter

Thing is, a two stage pump is slower, as when the going gets tough, it slows down...

Mine goes right through the wood, it doesn't slow down and works perfectly...

We love the way it splits wood, it's one of my BEST buys!

My splitter might hit the second stage for a couple seconds on 1-10 pieces. How much time do you stand to save on a single stage pump? No doubt it’s a nice splitter but it would work pretty much the same with a 2 stage pump.

Not necessarily if you had a big enough engine to turn the pump with proper flow and pressure there痴 no downside besides fuel consumption.

That is a HUGE downside if you are going to get the speed of a 2 stage AND the high pressure

And what about pushing them through that 4-way, you don't really think it's easy to push crotches through a 4-way, do you??

Mine runs at 1400 rpm, and sips diesel fuel sloooowly! No screamers here...

It's a Timber Wolf 3HD,
