4410 electrical problem

Ok here's what I got. Unless I'm missing something the mfwd switch is OK. However the tractor will start when the mfwd switch is engaged. If it is disengaged turn the key and poof the fuse blows. :banghead::confused3:

I'm really lost now.

PS: With the bulb in place of the fuse, I've wiggled and pulled and I got nothing. Not even a flicker.

So the bulb doesn't come on when the mfwd switch is disengaged, and then turn the key on ?
Don't blow another fuse, just let the bulb take the place of the fuse while you check out what is happening.

Check the solenoid for MFWD. It may be energized to disengage MFWD.
