I'm the second owner of an 8 horsepower Kohler powered model 110 garden tractor; vintage 1969. It needs repairs to the transaxle, so I figure I may find some useful information on these forums.
This machine is presently used as a towing tractor for a small trailer on an island and has faithfully negotiated some fairly rough terrain without complaint.
Compared to present day machines of far greater horsepower, the 110 is largely heavy gauge steel and cast iron construction and should hopefully last another 40 years with a bit of care.
