hi bob.. how do you get to the clutch and brake bands without open heart surgery

mine isnt putting much power into the left track , no ability to turn right . i will check to see if oil in the system. if i need to replace clutches do i require removing saddle bags and rear end . could you please give advice on steps to get into them and replace . with what seals etc id need.

You need to get this far for the steering clutches. Do you have a parts manual?

I take it you're in Oz, you have an Eastwind brand. They did the best rebrand I've ever seen, but I think they went out of business. The only parts sources I know of are in the US.

have you left the saddle bags/ hydraulic tanks on .
what parts including gaskets do i require. with brakes and clutches if im going that deep id do all

Yes, drop saddlebags unless you have a way to suspend them. Gaskets and seals are in the manuals along with part numbers.
There are no service manuals for these machines.
Do you have the manual (foot) clutch?

yep , the 2 pedals left and right , not a third.

i put it up on blocks , both tracks go forward and back . both tracks behave the same when pedals are pressed , just left track is weak in its torque as it turns.. what do you think it may be , at a guess...

When you say the left track is weak, do you mean the machine struggles to make a right turn or something else?

Ok, then you have the hydraulic shuttle clutch, with a F-N-R handle on the left saddlebag by the throttle.

That suggests that the left steering clutch and brake are out of adjustment and not releasing completely.

bonus , i filled the brake compartment with brake cleaner , driving a bit and it freed up the clutches . we have power to the left side now.
