Air in cylinders would not prevent the loader from lifting. It would potentially be bouncy but it would still lift to full height. If pump is starving for oil or sucking air that could potentially limit lifting but typically you will hear the pump cavitating since sounds like rock crusher.

If your ground is as dry and hard as here in northern Illinois that disc may only scratch the surface. We are having traction problems pulling disc ripper since tire lugs won’t bite in the hard ground. This is a 20,000 lb ripper and 50,000+ lb tractor.

Is squishing down retracting the left lift cylinder but not the right? You need to verify what line this diverter is connected to. I would be concerned that it might be a tank line which would cause the back hoe to leak around the spools and if pressure builds to high crack the castings.

What type of diverter valves do you have and where are they plumbed in the circuit. If installed correctly a diverter should not have any effect on seals or how back hoe valve functions. Some pictures of the valves installed might help.

Are the couplers you are referring to the quick disconnects that allow you to disconnect the loader? If yes they are bi-directional flow.

On my 2400H Branson there is an adjustment to limit lift arm height. Would have to dig the manual out but if feeble memory is correct it is the same feedback lever to stop lift based on command position. Your model may not have position control so that may not be an option for you.

I presume the thumb valve is electrically operated so would look into how the power is supplied to the thumb control vs the seat swivel. Might be as simple as some relay not working but that is 100% pure guesstimate on my part.

The 3 point return oil would typically dump directly into the transmission final drive housing so a hose up under the hood should have no effect on the 3 point lowering.

Like roadworthy states try lowering the three point some. If loader now works your 3 point feed needs adjusting. Both halves of quick disconnects can fail so just changing hose end may not solve the problem if it is a QD failure. Is pump quiet when loader is not in use?

Look for a ground wire or strap that goes from the engine to frame. Your tractor may or may not have one but If that has come loose or is corroded at connection points will cause high amp draw to the starter.

Not familiar with turfcat but what you are describing sounds like a case drain line from the motors. getting excess flow in this line would point towards one or more of the motors is starting to fail.

No you cannot draw oil through the pump and couplers on you tractor.

It depends on control valve features. If the tilt has anti- cavitational check valves or work port relief with anti-cav feature it could flow oil. Without that feature it would potentially spray it force on blade caused the cylinder to move.

EPDM is more weather resistant that nitrile and repels water better but depending on type of EPDM compound it may or may not be hydraulic oil resistant. DIN 73411 is meant for antifreeze and is intended for radiator coolant hose.

Sounds like there is blockage in the passage between the filter and charge relief. Have you tried blowing air from the charge relief back to the filter? Without knowing how the flow passages work it is hard to say what suddenly blocked a passage.

Will it float in either direction? I.e. push in but not pull out? Just asking since a partially seated quick disconnect or a failing disconnect will gave this effect on float but should have less effect in direction than the other.

Does the oil look foamy or is it pretty much clear oil? Did you recently remount the fel or any other changes to hydraulic circuit before this happened?

Does the drive shaft slide apart? If yes have you confirmed the phase angle of U-joints is correct? Most shafts only fit together one way but I have read reports on some that allowed assembly in more than orientation.

I believe that is a pipe swivel end on the hose. Mating fitting must have taper to seal on mating taper in the hose end. Suggest try threading a known size npt fitting to confirm this though.

Have you checked to confirm the power to the 3rd function is 12 VDC when command is active and 0 VDC with no command? Don’t remember which company it was but some of them had problems with circuit board controlling the 3rd function not supplying or cutting power like it should.

Were you trying to drive forward under heavy load when this problem occurred? If yes I would suspect the forward high pressure relief valve may have a piece of crud in it limiting pressure in forward since reverse still works. The noise could be that relief chattering.

A note of caution: Running hydrostatic trans without charge flow for any period of time will potentially damage the hydrostatic pump. It relies on the charge pressure for hydro-dynamic lubrication for rotating group when in neutral.

Possibly try Dalton Hydraulics. I think they manufacture cylinders but not sure if make custom lengths. I believe Prince & Cross also are cylinder manufacturers but again not sure what sizes.

Unless some low pressure - quality cylinders are used the tractor should not create enough pressure to damage the cylinders or seals. USA safety standards are typically 3 or 4 times rated cylinder pressure. Example: 3000 PSI rated cylinder should with stand 9,000 PSI without exploding.

I believe the machines that are being tuned have variable displacement hydraulic motors on them. I think your unit has a fixed displacement motor on it so only adjustment is if you can vary the flow output on your skid steer without creating excessive heat and energy loss.

If you leave the deck on you will need some long ramps to get angle low so the deck doesn’t catch or high center when loading if not loading in a ditch. Like ruff dog I think you would be better off removing the deck.

I suspect the deck is wider than 50” even with chute deflector tipped up or removed. If backing on be sure to tie the hood down so it doesn’t tip up and get tore off. Might want to tie seat so doesn’t bounce around also. Can you back into a ditch to load and unload. Not sure on tailgate...

What are the hydraulic issues that you are experiencing? A fitting that keeps leaking vs the HST doesn’t operate properly. To me this would play a big part in concern on tractor being reliable going forward.

I have seen them in use but never owned or operated one. My question is what prevents them from tipping side to side if not on level ground since 3 point arms can float a little independent of each other.
