Forgive my ignorance as my TYM T224 is the first 3-point equipped machine I've owned. So far I've only used the below pictured hitch attachment on it. What I can't figure out is, if I'm not careful on how high I raise the 3-pt with this hitch attached, the top link goes high enough to slam against the tractor's frame/x-member.
There is what I thought was a max height adjustment set bolt/jamb nut (purple arrow pointing to it, 3rd pic down), but adjusting that has had no effect. There are no additional holes for the top link and there is absolutely nothing in the operator's manual on it.
My finger is pointing to the dent and broken paint from the few times I went too high with the mowing deck and this hitch on at the same time. The 3-pt moves about 75% of it's travel before the deck moves it's ~6" between full up and full down.
I have to missing something obvious here..
