We have many feul stations with ethanol free premium and we use it. Nonetheless still think people claim their 4yo gas went bad because of the ethanol.

Ethanol free gas is really hard to get in our area,
Pure-Gas offers ethanol free gas at many locations across the US & Canada:

Pure-gas.org - ethanol-free gasoline in the U.S. and Canada

In addition, many Sunoco, Conoco and Mobil stations offer 93 octane ethanol free gas.

Be aware that gas pumps which let you select the fuel grade, often have ethanol gas still in the hoses. When choosing ethanol free, it's always a good idea to pump a few gallons into your vehicle first to clear the hose before filling your containers.

Most of the opinions on ethanol are anecdotal, unfortunately. Ethanol free gas is really hard to get in our area, so I just use pump gas in the 2 stroke and 4 stroke small engines. I put some stabilizer in it when I buy it, try to remember to run the engines dry before storage (but forget sometimes) and I've never had a problem. Maybe I'm just lucky, but if it came to the point I had to buy the expensive canned gas, I would go battery powered or diesel on everything.
Never seen a diesel chainsaw....lol

No luck finding station using the Pure-gas site?
It’s not worth driving 100 plus miles…

The SF Bay Area has done a fine job limiting availability to the casual user…

Drove to the nearest one 30 miles away and was told they cant say when next delivery will arrive.

However, I see a new listing 30 miles the other way I am willing to investigate.

You have to go way way way back but Jonsered had a diesel chainsaw.

I skipped forward to where he starts it. 😂

At least here in Nevada, stations that offer E-free gas have a separate nozzle/hose for the E-free.
