Good morning!!!!

Good Morning! Had a low of 68 before sunrise, now 81 heading to mid 90s. Feeling good about new surgical date. At least I’ll be finished with rehab this calendar year and a second deductible will not be deducted.

Hospice’s bowser bowl broke this when it fell off my 3 wheel walker sending food all over the floor. The bowser bowls are no longer made so I’ll try to glue this one back together.

A bowser bowl is an antless, waterless pet food bowl that works.

Good Morning!!!! 59F @ 7:30AM. Sunny. High 86F. Winds WNW at 5 to 10 mph.
Sounds like we're gonna have just about perfect weather for a while here. Including a chance of a rain shower Friday night. But then back to the low 90s by the end of next week.

Glad you had a smooth trip, Drew. And hope your procedure brings you some relief.

And glad you got your surgery bumped up, too, Don.

Paperwork consumed most of yesterday morning, but I did make a start on the bike engine in the afternoon. First a bit of flat surface mining to have a clean place to work, then chasing down and organizing parts, and finally trips to the parts cleaner and a little assembly work.Got a set of rings on one of the pistons. Probably spent more time chasing down parts than actual work, but that's the price paid for procrastination. Hope to keep the momentum going today, but likely will carry on into tomorrow.

Grid power stayed below the 253 VAC well pump cutoff yesterday, but 250 VAC still seems too high to my untrained mind. Is it? Can't blame selling power back to the grid for the over voltage condition as it continued long past sun down.

Hang in there, gang, Friday's comin'!

The computer mentioned in the document was:
16 bit/16K memory with foreground/background operation. Automatic
acquisition and reduction of foil counting data on-line. On-line
monitoring of reactor power pulse with analysis of peak, half-width
and yield. On-line monitoring of active dosimeters with data reduction.
Real time/Fortran IV.
I wonder if it was replaced by an app on a cell phone?

70°F and .15 inches rain

Can’t say I had a very productive day yesterday, but my biggest accomplishment was spending a significant chunk of change. Made all our airline reservations for our trip to mainland next year, all the way to Wash DC and back. Granddaughter graduates HS in Va and we will make multiple stops to visit people on return leg.

Semi annual dental visits this afternoon. Cleaning, exam, and lecture to do better.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Well stop by here.

Thanks, Dennis. One thing I’m avoiding this trip is car rental. Expecting our son will be chauffeuring in Dc area, as will Sophie’s sisters, except when one lends us her 2nd car to visit our old friends in AZ.

That said, am hoping we get to visit when you come to Big Island, Hilo side. Just you and wife or a group?

Watched a TV show about the making of the Gerstner tool chests. Amazing quality and they also restore old chests
Good Afternoon m7040,
I was a toolmaker/modelmaker for almost 40 years, and did have a Gerstner tool chest. But as a woodworker my plan was always to build my own chest !

I built this chest about 25 years ago. The carcass is black walnut, the drawers are butternut and the diamond inlays are rosewood. The drawer pulls are brass that I turned on a lathe. The drop front iinset is birdseye maple, and I also made the spring loaded locks that hold the front up while in the locked position ! Fun project !
