What do you use have for an electric razor?

I ask because I'm fed up with my Phillips Norelco electric 5000 series razor. First the body quit and then sent me a new one and now, after three months, the head doesn't cut right. I've used their razors for 40 years and comments on the web lead me to believe they changed the product. So I've decided to think about switching do a different brand. Maybe a Braun? Maybe something else? what do others use?

I use Braun. This one is at least 15 years old. About once a year I get a new blade/head assembly. That's it.

Is that the typical look Braun? I mean, they don't make a rotary razor like Phillips Norelco, do they?

I had a remington SP94 for about 9 or 10 years with good luck,
it ended up not holding a charge well so i asked for a new one for
christmas last year (2017) and was given a panasonic ES LA93
and it's been quite good. battery last many days, and i got 14 months
on the original foil and cutters, which is pretty good.
i think it cuts better and leaves less of the scraglers i used
to get with the old one.

Norelco isn’t what it used to be. I also don’t get along with the rotating heads on most razors. I hit on this brand and style 10-12 years ago and haven’t looked back. The model I have is about $60 now. This looks like the one of the nicer newer ones.

Panasonic Electric Shaver and Trimmer for Men, ES8243A ARC4, Wet/Dry with 4 Blades and Flexible Pivoting Head https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001DKMY9Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_.a.QCbDYR0NAM

I tried a Braun razor several years ago and wasn’t impressed. Not impressed with their coffee maker either. They do make good bath fans and HRVs though.

Ditto. A Braun Series 7 to be exact... I think I bought it back in '01' and the only thing that I replace is the cleaning solution cartridge. I've never had to replace the blade/head assembly in all these years. Great product and it doesn't 'pinch' or 'grab' the wee hairs or skin. Never had 'razor burn' with it.

Mind you, I'm a 'beardie' so it's just cheeks, lower lip and neck for me... smooth as a baby's bum. :)

I use a Chinese one I found on Amazon for under $40. It is waterproof to use and clean. It is the best razor I have ever used.
Phisco rechargeable from USB. Charge lasts forever and charges up quickly from any USB source. I use my laptop. Totally happy with it.

Good ideas. Thank you. I had no idea the Panasonic or low-buck Braun was out there.
