Like ST said. That huge back plastic knob under the seat, between your legs as your sitting on th seat you DO NOT want to mess with. It needs to stay all the way open or you can damage your system. If you close it you can dead head the pump, if you need it slightly closed t work something is not right in the system and your putting wear on the system that does not need to occur. That is the service lockout knob. It's used when you cut off the tractor to block off fluid flow in 3pt. It will lock up the implement when closed unless your O ring is bad hen it will still leak down. This is the way to tell if you have a bad valve or O ring in your 3 pt , if an implement leaks down.

Okay, well, then I definitely have an issue as I have to hold the handle back to keep the 3 point raised with the lockout valve all the way open, and the box blade on the back.

Do you have the Spring. I had a similar problem after I first bought the 2000. I have to keep pressure to the valve esp. When I am Raise position. Handle is forward "lower". You don't need any Spring pressure to the Valve. Lift it, Pull the handle back And set your Spring tension. So that way your keeping pressure at all times on the valve "Lift".... Hey been like this for over 10 yrs. and haven't had the first problem...Ghetto Rig I know but I have so much play in the Handle Linkage it would fall...

The lever will stay in position, but the 3point will fall.
Again, this IS with the box blade attached.

Mine was Beat to **** and back. It may be common but I've never seen it. If you look at my Height Adj. on the Arm. You can see were it's been welded without a doubt. And mine won't work correctly with the Drop adj. that far back of the pin position in stsid1 Pic.

More or less mine looks like it has everything except for the spring on the screw of the handle and the black knob there next to the handle to stop the downward throw.

This is what I was looking for the other day also. What you have should work. I think and pretty sure my Raise/Lower handle is all the way in down Pos.. You can see my drop Rate also it's pointing straight up. I haven't touched it in 10yrs. Truth.............

I have to put my Speed handle at about 1/4 open.
From there with the raise lower handle back, and the front open/close knob all the way open it will stay all
the way up with the box blade on the back as long as the tractor is running.
