I'm thinking the factory may be more like 30

Yea that sounds more right than 30. Since the headlights and anything else just dims them. Probably more like 15.

I know there were no new ones availible a short wile ago, Hoye and everyone else was waiting on new ones. There is no rebuild, you can do the orings, but if worn there just wornout. And if it's all pitted and it won't be fixable. Either get a new one or a serviceable used one from Hoye or similar.

Seems to be working good. Had lunch and a movie, got back home around 4:30pm, ran the tractor again with the box blade till about 7:45pm. Played around more with the hydraulics, and turning the adjustment knob at the front of the seat. Got feedback back and now the 3 point stays up even with the box blade on.

Adjustment knob, you talking about the screw in shut off valve. You don't want to restrict flow from the pump.

Like ST said. That huge back plastic knob under the seat, between your legs as your sitting on th seat you DO NOT want to mess with. It needs to stay all the way open or you can damage your system. If you close it you can dead head the pump, if you need it slightly closed t work something is not right in the system and your putting wear on the system that does not need to occur. That is the service lockout knob. It's used when you cut off the tractor to block off fluid flow in 3pt. It will lock up the implement when closed unless your O ring is bad hen it will still leak down. This is the way to tell if you have a bad valve or O ring in your 3 pt , if an implement leaks down.

Only thing I hate about the system is once you raise the lift I have to push the lift lever forward just a little to take pressure off the pump.
Wished it worked like our other tractors, self relief the pressure.

Gotcha, I've got a Ford 3 wire sitting here from the boat engine, but the alternator on the tractor is brand new, and is 90amp vs the factory 50 or whatever it was it came with.

I looked in the YM240 Parts Manual. The OEM 'generator' (alternator) is 15 amps.
