I havent waxed her yet but she has seen plenty of washes. I love my tractor also, but i love myself even more. Id rather have the tractor get the scrathes and dents then my body.

Most of my derbi work is almost done now. Im gonna rent me a nice chipper for the small stuff and use my chainsaw for the big boys for firewood.

Sorry for the blurry pic. The cell camera didnt want to stay focused with the leds lights. Ill take soke better pictures when im all dome with both sides. Im happy with the brighness so i order the other side. All together i will spend 40 bucks. A total 10 leds strips. 5 per side, I put 2 in the back, 2 in the front and one on the side. Way better then stock!

Here is on my first twenty hours on a gc 1710. Some minor brush broke it right off. Nothing a little glue won't fix but for now just have some bungy cords holding it on in case I run into some brush again. But I must say other than that love the tractor.

Ooklaa,

A couple quick questions because I don't have a backhoe version:

1. With the backhoe on . . Can you lower the rops? And if so . . How much door clearance do you need?

2. With the backhoe off can you operate the tractor with the rops fully down folded or does it hit the 3 pt. If fully down folded?

Never took the rops down with the backhoe on. But i assume you cant cause it will hit the backhoe controls.

When I first bought the machine i took off all the attachemnt and rode with just the MMM deck on. I Folded the Rops just to see how to do it and no problems with it hitting any of the 3 pt arms. Those are much lower. But i have yet to actually use my 3pt arms, their still pretty much in the stock position fom how they came from the dealer.

Also the rops only has one postion all the way down. Their is no 3/4 latch to stop it from floding in half.

I always put my belt on and keep my rops up.

Axle did you see the led lights i put on?

Borrowing your picture bevis...

I have found no use for the two bolts on the front of the rops, anyone know what they do?

Do you mean the bolt that sits "upright" with a jam nut on it?

I believe that's used to fine-tune the position of the ROPS when it's in its raised position so the pins that lock everything together fit without fiddling around with them (while holding the ROPS up with one hand ); i.e., so the holes line up. The end of the bolt bears on the "ring" piece (first pic) that goes in between the two stationary holes as the ROPS is raised into position.

I suppose it could also be used to apply tension to the ROPS after it's raised, to prevent rattling…?
