Ooklaa,

Just checking to see the following:

1. Are you happy with your added lights/lighting now that you've had some time to use them?

2. With hindsight available . . what would you do differently than you did?

3. Are there any adfitions you plan to make to your lighting situation.

Jonohio looks like he turns "night into day" with his setup. I'm still waiting fir time to install the lights I've had for a year lol. And still looking for just the right switches to make them work (1 switch for front lights and 1 switch for rear light. (All 3 lights are 18 watts each low profile wide lights of cast aluminum with no sharp corners or edges) . . 6 leds per light

I am plannig on redoing it soon. My work hs been keeping me so busy that i havent done anything at all.

I will reroute the wiring and shorten it up. I also will add light bar that can rotate beteennfromt and rear.

My gc1715 doesn't come with thr backhoe . . . but judging by the difference in uses of a fel or forks vs. The backhoe, I would think the rear (backhoe side) would brnefit from a decent light at each side of the rops top for angular lighting.

Meanwhile I would think the front facing side is more of a "full on" lighting scheme or 1 good side angle on each side somewhat angled outward. In other words front end needs are almost exact opposites of rear end backhoe needs . . . all based on the primary implement usage of front vs. Rear.

I have been reading this thread, and said to my self, "self, move your lights!" Never got around to it. I busted my right rear light off today!:hissyfit:

Well I got around to relocating the lights, but only after it cost me $125 for a replacement light. Snapshot 1 (8-12-2016 10-57 AM).pngSnapshot 1 (8-12-2016 10-57 AM).png

Yeah, that ol' hit to the wallet is a mighty motivator! :) You'll be glad you got them moved!

Ahhh .... ! That's exactly was I was planning on doing to my newly acquired 1529. One was totally missing and the other was hanging by one bolt and the housing was shot. At $114.00 a pop, I felt that, rather than, them sticking out, to the outside, like "curb feelers" (for you older folks), I'd mount them on the inner side of the ROPS.

the leds lights are so much brighter then the stock lights and so much cheaper. If anyone is out their still breaking the kights please look into this thread from the beginning.

I just bought a set of 6 myself! Your link ended, but I found these: 32 LED Universal flexible Motorcycle Light Strip Tail Brake stop/turn sign Light

I figured one on front/side/rear would suffice for me. I already have a forward facing 20" LED bar and 2 rear facing 4" LED pods on the ROPS so I'm hard to miss at night. The added red and flashing amber will just help when I'm clearing the end of the driveway at night, or driving to a neighbor's house. I'll be happy to not have to watch the left side light as much anymore! haha (Mine was zip tied when I bought the tractor used, then I tried glue, finally clear packing tape has held it together for the past year or so.)
