Ookla-- here's what I made to hold my ROPS in a roughly half-way position; I found I couldn't use my 3PH tiller with the ROPS down, but as my garden is very small --and on level ground-- I prefer not to have the ROPS up. (Also keeps me from forgetting to put the $#@ thing back down before trying to back into the garage to remove the tiller!! :ashamed
I made two, using 3/16 steel bar stock, and purchased two additional pins to fit. They essentially extend the distance between the ROPS locking holes, holding the ROPS in an angled position-- just enough for the tiller to clear when it's raised. The notch I had to cut out is for clearance on the edge of the stationary portion of the ROPS.
