If it ain't one thing, it's another; feast or famine, flood or drought. All winter, I had the prettiest green lawn we've ever had. Then the rains came; made it grow fast and in dire need of mowing when it was too wet to mow. And now . . . well, it's hot and dry. A lot of the grass died in some places, I assume from standing in puddles of water. But much of the rest of the lawn is looking a bit sickly. So I mowed yesterday, then late yesterday evening while the grass was dry, I spread Scotts Turf Builder, and today I'm watering the yard for the first time this year.
