Welding BH frame

Rick, when you welded them how did the bead form on the skin?

OK then....you're talking about the frame section which is attached to the backhoe, which is then attached to the subframe?

I believe Rick welds them to the structual walls in the back room. This way he keeps them upright, stationary & he has customers available on any given day he chooses.

I'm trying to understand, once welded can the backhoe still be easily removed from the tractor?

Yes. The frame bolts they are welding are on the portion that slips off when you pull the pins. Its the frame that slips under the tractor and engages the recievers located towards the front of the tractor and the reciever just under the power takeoff.
