Flux core machine

/ Flux core machine #21
I'd also go with the 10GA. My Millermatic 175 calls for a 30A circuit and it is never at the max settings. My Everlast 200STi max input is 24A @ 120V and 22A @ 2140V. Either are run from a "dryer" outlet I installed in the garage or the tow-behind generator (repurposed light tower). There are two 10GA homemade extension cords. The short one (about 30') is for working near the house and the long one - nearly 100' is generally used with the generator. That allows me to work almost anywhere.

I should note that the Everlast stick welder specifies a max of 5% THD, which the tow-behind complies with. I've seen people report damage to inverter machines when that wasn't followed.
