Toro Workman 3200 project...anyone have one of these?

Yeah, I posted about there being only 4 bolts that hold engine to bellhousing. Fabricating an adapter will be a lot of work.

Note that you can lift the bed without starting the engine. Crank the engine with the starter (pull the coil wire first) and the bed lever actuated. You can remove the plugs to make it even easier.
I was thinking that was what he did to burn the engine up, due to it not having oil in the engine. Plus he also spun it over trying to start it which added to the amount of wear on the bearings.

yep thats my thought, kind of a shame as the whole unit only has but 1600hrs which reading thru the thread is pretty low.

Toro_tim,
Where are you located? That makes a huge difference when discussing replacement engines. I have a Toro Workman out back with tank/sprayer and no transmission or carb that is slated to go to TN as a motor donor. It and the other parts Toro (complete unit) will eventually go to TN and the hydraulics will come back to Florida reincarnated in a Toro Commercial Cab unit with a heater.
These Toro's pop up occasionally in the South, but travel time and fuel costs tend to make them more expensive than I am willing to pay, due to already having more of them than my Bride is comfortable with!

I would think that an industrial setting would be a good place to find them also, due to the capacity of the bed. The scissor lift would also be a good choice for that same reason, but since there are so few of them around, maybe golf courses win out!
