Workbench looks good. Now that you've had the overhead LED lights for awhile, how do you like them?

Love them, will be getting more for the workbench and greenhouse.

I should add that when they are on they do interfere with the radio signal.

We are working on getting the main power into the barn. I will also run a hydrant to the new green house in the same trench. When I start the greenhouse I'll start a new thread showing the build process. You can see the stakes where the greenhouse will go. 21' X 36'

Nice! That tool collection looks a bit, uh, modest for such a magnificent barn though. :p

I had the same thought. Just my wrenches would got from end to end of the work bench. Gotta have metric and standard, from itty bitty up to two inches. I probably have around 40 of them hanging on my wall.

Ya well I try to keep stuff around that doesn't need to be worked on. ;)
The bigger stuff is in the cabinets and tool boxes.

No pictures but the permanent power is wired up and working in the barn. What a nice feeling getting rid of that extension cord going to the back of the house.
I may have to forgo building a hay shed next year. I think we'll be replacing our car with the 2023 GMC Canyon AT4. I ordered one today but they are talking almost a year until delivery. o_O

My barn still powered by extension cord.

Delivery times are unreal but sounds like a very nice truck

Foam changes everything!!! That's going to be a really nice place for your tractor.

I'm thinking of getting my barn project "foamed". Did they scrape it to match the thickness of the 2x6's? What'd they charge 'ya?

Yes, they scrapped it to match the 2x6s.
Total job was $4805 which in my opinion was very high but everything is high now days. Thanks Brandon.

Somehow I missed this thread. Glad I found it. Awesome work. Awesome documentation. Appreciate it very much Lynn.

My Son is hiring a building done. 96x36x16. Will be a mechanic shop. I did all the dirt work and outside service burial. When the builder gets done I'll wire it. As slow as he is it'll be past Halloween. Hydronic floor heat so I can't complain.

Thank you very much as always for great narrative and pics!!!! :)

First thing is to get some dirt on that log splitter, I hate clean equipment.;)
OK, the log splitter is brand new. I do have a load of logs coming. (hopefully) In the past I had to do it the manual way, the axe and trust me it looks used. :) I can't wait to get the splitter going. I should have enough wood to fill that space plus some.

Look forward to seeing progress on your sons shop.
I just got main power into the barn and it sure is nice. I've been using an extension cord coming off the house.
