There is a cable waterski on 288 between Angleton and Alvin exit.. one of our sons took some of the grandkids there,, all teenagers,, it was fun watching them the first time,, they were just learning.. but it didn’t take long.. The second time they went wasn’t as must fun watching,, they knew what they were doing.. The third time Betty and I didn’t go,, one them broke their wrist,, Man I missed all the action..

Brandi I got five inches of rain on Wednesday morning from 1:31 am to about 9am.. The pasture is so wet that the cows are wearing life vests,,

Kyle I lived on Bastrop bayou for 37 years,, between old Angleton rd. and hwy 228b.. Our kids was raised on that bayou,, they could leave the house and run always to Galveston bay.. Lou

Lou do you know the name of the cable ski place? Does it have a web site or a picture? It's been sooo long ago that I was there maybe 25 - 30 years ago.

I saw the one Kyle was referring to a couple weeks ago on our trip to float the Guadalupe. Had never heard of such. But really enjoyed floating the river.

I looked at some pics and the one I was at was a longer rectangle. The cable made a sharp 90˚ turn at each corner and unless you were as far to the outside as possible it would feel like the cable stopped and then would jerk you out of your skies.

Looks like we have a pretty good line of rain coming this morning. It figures, I was planning on going Dove hunting this afternoon. We'll see.

After my last cutting the second week of July,, I fertilized and weed killed the hay fields.. Thinking if I get the rain I may get one more cutting.. Well I got another 2.47 inches of rain today and it still misting.. Without going back and pulling up the numbers I would say over 12 inches in the last 6 to 7 weeks,, it is tall, thick and almost blue,, dark green.. Now if it will stop long enough to let me do my thing.. Lou
