Sunday night was bad enough for me. I was trying to get home but all of the roads were flooded out. I finally found one road that was only 6" deep.
Then Monday our bull "barbacoa" busted down 2 fences and I had 5 cows on 3 different properties.
The next time I get him in the corral he will be on his way to becoming barbacoa for real.

No rain this morning, just overcast, but the NWS forecasters are getting really brave. They're forecasting 100% heavy rain between 2 p.m. this afternoon and 2 a.m. tomorrow. And I don't think it's going to be dry enough to mow today before the next round of rain arrives.

Looks like more rain heading this way also.

The wild Mustang grape crop looks like it will be a bumper crop this year. Has anyone successfully made Mustang grape wine?

We are getting more heavy rain today, as well as a tornado watch. Last Friday we got between 3-4 inches in a little over an hour. Some of our neighbors reported 3 and a few said 4, we haven't bought a rain gauge yet, will need to soon. it is a soupy mess here still.

A few pics from last Friday.

This is our road going to the property

Coming down off the neighbors property. I knew there was a dry creekbed here, but I have never seen water in it.

The neighbors pond, not quite full...

It didn't take long to fill it with this coming into it...

It is now full, it rose over 10' in a little over an hour.

I didn't take any pics of our driveway, but there was over 6" of water flowing down it and it rutted out in a couple places. This was good, it showed me where I need to work on drainage, although with the deluge we got I don't think anything would have prevented it.

Here comes the rain. We are uinder a severe thunderstorm warning and tornado watch. Just got very dark outside (dark enough that I have to turn on lights). Horses in from the pasture. The big question is how long do I have before the power goes out.
