Texas Spring/Summer Thread

We got a little rain last night, but now it's raining hard this morning........hope it lasts all day. It's been a long time since we've seen this kind of Rain here in East Texas.

High temp today is suppose to be in the mid-70's. A break from the heat is welcomed.

Charlie, that is a blessing. The rain has been all around me since yesterday, but not a drop so far. N Texas looks to be getting some much needed rain and hopefully it drops South.

Dennis-- We ended up with 3/4 of an inch that we are proud of. Cooled off too so we got to sit on the deck in comfort yesterday evening.

The temp is 60* this morning and may get down in the 50's before the sun comes up. Have to go to Dallas this morning so the cool weather will help. I've just have to get a game face on to fight the traffic. We will be stopping by Jimmy's Mkt to get our fix on Italian Deli Delights........can you say Pecorino Romano, and Prosciutto? Maybe stop at Matt's Rancho Martinez for some World Class Tex-Mex. Then get the heck out of Large D. That will almost make the trip worthwhile.

We just had a mist or drizzle for more than half a day yesterday, but it did put .10" of water in my rain gauge. And 56 degrees this morning is hard to believe.

Felt great when I left the house, get down her to Galveston and is muggy:banghead: I only got .19 yesterday, but it was nice cool day

You got more rain then we did.............just a tenth of an inch here.

A little over 1 1/2" here, mostly very early Saturday. Lightning and thunder started about 2am. Temperature never reached 70 yesterday.

Its foggy and damp here this morning. Long sleeve work shirt might feel good this morning.

Yesterday's high was 78 with a low of 66. Just a little mist here yesterday. Just enough to get your rubber boots wet in the grass. Send any left over rain to my place.

We had your mist here all morning today and foggy till mid morning. Never saw the sun today. Nice break from all the recent heat and humidity.
