Texas Spring/Summer Thread

I figured it must be the drought killing trees. Got into ********* around 4:30 am and there was standing water.go figure. They said it had rained here for about an hour yesterday. I went ahead and started the job and hopefully I get done with out rain tonight. Let it rain everywhere but on that parking lot!!:laughing:

I also had a bumper crop of grasshoppers?? I even put out some Semaspore, but perhaps to early. They are greatly reduced now, but not sure if it was the application, or just their cycle??

We heard the Thunder to the East but not a drop of rain..........NADA. Will do Rain Dance Sat. till I drop, I guess. With this heat that shouldn't take long.

Stupid is as stupid does!!! I roll into the house and realized I left my clip board in *********..DUHHHHH All my paperwork, schedules, gee what a bone head. Doubtful they will mail it (according to the overnight guy), so I will burning fuel to pay penance for my lack of attention Glad I have absolutely nothing else to do this weekend grrrrrrrrrr

At least there is a 30% chance of rain here,,YEAH

Brandi looks like Tropical Depression 10 soon be know as Ingrid is headed for Mexico.. That is the second storm they have got this year.. almost in the same location.. I thinking they maybe team dancing.. unlike line dancing.. where one person relieve the other and the dance goes on.. ,,kind of like and the beat goes on.:laughing:. Lou

Lou, is it the dancing or all the Tecate and Dos Equis they are drinking? I won't dance, but I'll buy a case of Tecate, a dozen limes, and box of salt so I can help with this over the weekend.
