It looks like it is weakening as it heads southeast. That may just be the radar playing tricks or the heat island of the cities having some effect. I'm at just over 1/2" so far with some more light rain on the way.

Sure does Jim! The front seams to have broadened out with much less "red" as it had when we had it coming through!

Last I checked, was at 1am, we had a 20% chance. We need more of these 20%'ers. because the 70% pass me by!

Edit: I do think it was a 30% for today though. I have at least 1/2" so far also:thumbsup:

It sure didn't take long to get that "severe" warning off the NWS website. We've had a nice shower; currently at about .15" but still a light sprinkle continuing. And we've had a nice cool north breeze (not enough to call it "wind"), a little thunder in the distance, barely a little visible lightning, and fortunately, no hail. We did lose the DirecTV satellite signal for about 10 minutes.

Northern tool Bird, less than $10 for the out-o-sight traps like I have. Don't know if they have them in a retail store, but I bet you could call one and check if your going close.

Dennis, I stopped by the Lewisville Northern Tool this morning and they did not have any of the "out of sight" traps. They did have the same trap Tractor Supply had that I liked the looks of, but Northern Tool was $5 higher than Tractor Supply. Later in the morning, I was in Denton anyway, so I bought one of those high priced traps at Tractor Supply. If it works, it's a lot less trouble to use than what I've read about the "out of sight" traps. If the "out of sight" traps are so good, and apparently they are, I wonder why Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe's, Tractor Supply, Harbor Freight, and Northern Tool don't have them in their stores.

I got about .82" total from this morning's rumblings. It looks to me like a storm is brewing just west of you right now, Dennis.

I had a tough day today. After the rain and a quick check that showed the garden was just gonna have to wait to have me pick green beans, I loaded up my paddle boat and launched it into our lake from my deep shoreline so my wife and grandson could paddle around on the lake. Then, I went to pick up some roses for my wife since tomorrow is our 8th wedding anniversary.:)

Well dam Jim, Congratulations to you 2 youngsters!! Beans will wait

I swear my grass has grown 6" since yesterday:shocked: I will have to mow soon. Might wait and see if Bird ends up mowing this far south before I do it:laughing:

Congratulations, Jim. Time sure goes by fast; doesn't seem like it's been that long since you two got married.

And Dennis, since I mowed yesterday afternoon, I figure I won't have to mow again until Thursday.:D
