I've also found my cats seem to keep down the snake population, but they don't discriminate between good and bad snakes as I do.:laughing:

Horses help keep snakes away from the barn, but they just lay in wait in the warm bedding and manure pile. Ohio has rattlers but around here only copperheads, SUPPOSEDLY. I hope they know that

Haven't seen any snakes here yet, but the weather this weekend has been super! 540-50's at night, then into the 80's, (nice in the shade) Great to be outside!!

I'm not even sure what kind of snakes they are, but we find some not much bigger than a pencil in the yard every year. I was mowing and using the string trimmer on the next door neighbor's yard a week ago and killed one with the string trimmer before I even saw it.
