Well, finally I'm in the production game with you guy's!! Still had my butt whooped by FG19 and Jim, (my local competition:laughing But better late then never I guess

I have picked a couple of serranos, but jalapenos need a little more time. Tabasco peppers are just beginning to bloom good. Didn't plant habaneros, this year. I did however, plant one bell pepper plant. I use those fresh in home-made spaghetti sauce and other recipes! I am ready for peppers!

It might be cooler today, but I sure broke a sweat out hoeing earlier. Not so bad in the shade, but the garden doesn't grow in the shade.

Have you ever tried a "stirrup" hoe?? great for weeding, but not for deeper digg'n

I've never tried one, but have been curious about them.

Dennis, your garden looks great, especially for somebody who has to work for a living. We retired folks have a big advantage. Your squash and zucs look very healthy.

We got a nice mess of beans this morning and my grandson picked about 10 ripe cherry tomatoes. We also got a couple more yellow squash.

I've sure got a lot of purple coneflowers on my place. I'll soon have lots of purple gayfeathers too. My grandson and I went Mule riding this morning and he got it stuck. I managed to get it out and then promptly stuck it really good myself. I brought my tractor and pulled it out with him driving. For a 13 yo kid, he did a good job of driving while I pulled him up a very narrow ridge on the hillside.
