I can honestly say I do not have a Bowie box on my truck! The insert that I have takes up that much space though! Keep fishing guys, and I'll keep cutting bait! :D

Edit: Guys! Don't you think that would be a heckuva career change to go from pilot to veterinarian? :confused3:

Hey, would y'all quit using that "f" word, Fat? I find it very offensive! :p

I got chased off the tractor a little over an hour ago by a thunderstorm..........that was unforecast! Over an hour later and over 3 inches in the rain gage and it is still falling. The island pond I have been dredging is about two foot for overflow............the same as my smaller, older pond. Yippee. Break out the Tequila!
hugs, Brandi

My goodness, Brandi; sure wish we could get something like that. A bit after 9 a.m. this morning, I was going up I-35E and drove through a heavy shower for maybe a much as a couple of hundred yards, but it was very brief.

Dang, I'll bring the salt and lime! I was in Joshua and Burleson yesterday, and saw 3 drops of rain. :umbrella-guy:

No more than going from a pilot to a plumber or electrician, both of which use similar bed inserts.;)

Since I last posted the runoff water has raised the pond level to within 7 inches of overflow. Just like when I started the pond last year and was not finished...........we got a gully washer and filled it. It should be full in a few minutes.

FG,
I take my tequila sen sal. I was TDY working helicopter structures in Mexico and had a seven margaritas. I found my way from the bar to my hotel room and fell asleep, waking u0p early in the AM and needing water. I took the full pitcher of water in the room and drank a lot. The next day I was sick, sick, sick as a dog. Seems the hotel maid filled the pitcher up with the water hose. The natives don't even drank tap water there, on the island of Carmen in the bay of Campeche.
So no salt for me.
hugs, Brandi

Ok. Well, I'll grant you *that* much! Still not telling what I do though! :D

I always have NO salt on the margaritas, but if I'm doing shooters, I will take a little salt. I think more folks get sick from the salt, than the tequila. After all, eat enough salt, and you'll get ill. I'll drink more, if it is in a mix so leave the salt out then. I keep my limes when doing shots, so I can keep count. They go down a little nicer with a little salt, even if one doesn't use much! Once I hit my limit and quit, I eat a lime to cleanse the palate, (especially good, if you have to drive!), then toss the rest in the trash, or compost.

Looking at pictures of some of the horses I have had in the past and I came across a picture of my granddaughter and my blue eye homozygous tobiano paint stud,, sure miss that horses,, still have the granddaughter tho..:D Lou

Lou,
Nice shaped head. Do you have a full picture of him?
Would you believe from the picture of the horse I posted that she is a registered paint? :confused3:
Her father was a brown and white Overo and her mother was solid black.

One of my favorite horses was a Tennessee Walker. Had a plantation saddle, similar to a cavalry saddle but more leather. No horn and an open pommel for pure comfort. ( if you know what I mean:rolleyes:)

pacerron; Were you flying DC-3's at TTA? If so, did you know Ken Payne? We had an old saddle from the farm, circa 1930's, that dad gave to Ken. He had it restored, and used it in a lot of his artwork. Ken eventually left TTA to devote his time solely to art. He has done quite well. I have a drawing that Ken did for my dad of a DC-3, way back when. I also have photos somewhere of the saddle restored, that Ken gave us too.

Your post reminded me of it, because it didn't have the usual horn for taking a dally.

hmm .... before you have mention medical field and working in hot barns, liking animals (yours or others?) but yet are evasive with your pronouns when it comes to specifics. I'd say Veterinarian because it fits most of what you try to steer the pronouns away from. I initially though home health nurse with your hours, but the truck and barns kicked that away. You do not have to confirm or deny.

Well, I saw the same post as you Don, and I thought vet also. However there are many jobs in barns from scoopin' poop to artificial insemination. I guess that's both ends of the technology scale.

. . .and talk about Margaritas, I used to be a bartender and have made many Margaritas. I doubt that today's frozen concoctions with all the strawberries and such contain any Triple Sec at all. I like the traditional Margarita with tequila, Triple Sec, a dash of sweet-n-sour and shaken with ice and strained into a lime/salt rimmed glass over the rocks. I hardly ever drink more than one. I think all the fruit, sweet-n-sour, and even grenadine syrup mask the fact that there is alcohol in the drink, making people overdo it like drinking lemonade. Cheap sweet wine and sweet drinks make for a nasty hangover if you overdo it.

I'm not confessing anything till you do.:stirthepot:
Ladies first.
You might as well give up. You have now challenged the "Texas Spring and Summer group" and they
will not stop till they getcha, just to prove they can do it.
But, if you really have a reason to not want what you do revealed just say so.

She has posted before that she has had a stalker in the past, and does not want her identity out there for us to know. If she puts too much information in public view, it's not too hard for someone to track her down. I know that there are several on this site who have looked into my background-because they have thrown things at me from my history that have never been revealed in any posts. A little creepy. Let's respect everyone's privacy and let sleeping beagles remain undisturbed.
