Sd1540 B 3 point problems

My 3 point will only lift when cold and at that it will lift and then drop with weight on it. I have replaced the piston O rings and the problem still persisted.
Any ideas what else it could be?

I have a loader on it and it works perfectly.

Did you check out your other thread posting. I provided the manuals.

Shibaura 1540b 3 point won’t lift

I just purchased a Shibaura 1540b and it was having hydraulic issues caused be a clogged screen. After draining the oil and cleaning the screen the loader works perfectly but the 3 point doesn’t want to lift. It will only lift while cold or if I shut down the tractor for a few min but sometime...

Bet there are other o-rings in the system to check. And it may be a diverter valve being stuck too.

So I have replaced the O rings on the piston, honed the cylinder, replaced all O rings in the control valve, flushed all the hydro fluid and put a new screen in and I am still having the issue where it won’t lift. Any one have a suggestion as to what else it could be? Again front loader works perfect.

Old post but I’ve been having the same issue. Did you ever figure out what it was?

I just acquired a 1980 shibaura sd1500b, 3 point lift picks up good at first start,, but will ease back down (grader box 4ft), hotter gets the worse it gets. I am totally new to tractor, all decals and such are worn off, no book on it, I dont even iknow how or where to check hydraulic fluid, what type it takes or anything ! Need some good help ! Thanks

Use a universal hydraulic /transmission fluid. First thing to check is lift cylinder orings. I can supply parts & manuals.
