Attwoods has the pins that you need to make the quick hitch bottom hooks fit. They are $3.49 each. They have the sleeves too if you need them. Speedy2

Yeah I went to a lot of work building adapters etc and then come to find out my driveshaft is too short now on my tiller.

That really pisses me off because the tiller is one thing thats too heavy for me to man handle around to get attached and is the one main thing I needed a QH for and cant use it now.

I am going to make someone a good deal on mine too!

Same F'ing issue here with my HF QH. the Landpride tiller is killer and fortunately has adjustable bottom mount "U" bolts. Now to the drive shaft to short issue. More $$$$$$$.

Hey a PTO extender (fits on your tractor) is only $20 at Tractor Supply. No big deal.

But ... I noticed the QH hooks ran into the RS1400 tiller chassis, so they wouldn't engage the tiller's lower pins. I leave the tiller on a scrap sheet of plywood where I can slide it around to line it up.

Yeah its always something seems like.

I narrowed my 26.5" wide cat 1 HF qh to about 20", I cut it and re welded it back together for my buddys 1610D and we cut the tillers shaft AFTER mounting his tiller something I learned too late on mine and I gave him a good deal. :laughing: :thumbsup:
