I want to replace the chute deflector bar with an actuator (see photos). The welded brackets have large holes for the pins while the actuator has small end holes. I am looking for an easy to build attachment solution.
I am sure some have solved this problem. Why reinvent the wheel. Please share photos of your solution that might work for me.

Thanks in advance.IMG_20190930_140147.jpg8489098_in1.jpg

Drill your existing brackets for a short extension mount your actuator to the extensions.
Or if you are going to make a yoke for the actuator bolt the yoke to your brackets and set the actuator in the yoke with a small pin.

If you can weld and build some mounting brackets, this should not be a bad job to get done. Mount the screw shaft down to reduce water contamination.

Here is a photo of an actuator I added and I built the brackets for it.

Just trying to put down a bit of a base so my blower doesn’t throw gravel around. Been going over the driveway with the rear blade and generally squashing the snow down a bit.

Here is my current setup. I also have a large capacity snow bucket, regular bucket, rear blade and rear facing snow blower. Hoping this setup is the best for my conditions. This year will tell the tale.
