We get them fairly frequently. Maybe once a year in Washington. The trouble is that our constant rain and clouds obstruct the view.

I saw the Northern Lights while flying enroute to Green Bay 2 weeks ago (we were right over L. Michigan abeam Milwaukee)...it was the most intense light show I've ever seen. The solar activity must be off the scale right now.

Missed out here. Cloudy. Wouldn't have mattered though. That wind storm that was going would have blown them clear to Missouri anyhow.
