Thx all

Just a hobby shop ehanson

3 phase via rotary converter tho I am working on a high voltage issue that I have run into when I started adding a vdf to a bandsaw

unless I missed it earlier, can you talk about your hobby and what you will most likely do with this machinery?
Looks like you could make a crankshaft from scratch...
please keep the pics coming

Not to distract from the OP's thread. I met a guy couple years ago that lives about 15 miles from me. Met him at a car show where I had my offroad buggy. Started visiting with him and discovered he had a Machinist shop in his backyard. I needed a shaft built and was more than willing to have a local guy do it. I went to his place the next weekend with my old shaft. He took me into a medium sized pole barn covered with vines and tree limbs. Inside was something similar to the OP's shop. I was speechless. This guy had a great shop and is a great machinist.

So, if he just uses it for his "hobby" it's cool by me. Hopefully his neighbors will "discover" him some day.

That bike is trying to kill me. Time to let it go. I love the bike, I love the style but wayyyy to much power for the trails I have(rock, streams etc). It is stupid fast (think cr500 power)
Will put it up in the spring once the snow clears. Maybe go with a smaller vintage 4 stroke or get another rokon

I would be interested in that bike. What model? Year? Had a 76 WR360 several KTM after that. Great memories.

Nice shop. I wouldn't wanna get it dirty............but oh how I would. Where are you located? Anywhere Willis, Texas? My local backyard machine shop closed up. I need to find a new one.
hugs, Brandi

I gave up trail bike riding growing up in the PNW way long ago. I think the straw that broke the camel's back (luckily not mine) was when I missed a tight trail turn and flew into a big old cedar stump. Thankfully, it was logged probably 80+ years earlier and it was so rotted that I buried the bike past the handle bars and launched myself over and into a bed of mossy, ferns and decaying stuff. Softest running into a wall possible. My buddy took a few minutes to circle back and find me and then only asked where is the bike? I pointed and he squinted looking around. Pretty funny when he finally found it.

Well cared for, just a few things w bike, it will make someone happy. Someone strong that is. Kicking this beast is fun. It is left side kick to rear. Swedes must have a strong left leg! I made the left foot peg removable with a C clip so you're inside ankle doesn't get brutalized when kicking.

Runs great, Will link a video once it loads
As far as selling, this would be local only, wasn't planning on moving it till spring as I still have a soft spot for it(like a bruise!)
Rhode Island area

Lifts delivered today. 52,000lb capacity (13k per column), 4 full height jack stands and attachment to frame lift from ends of vehicle(only using 2 columns to lift in that case). Lifts stand about 8' tall for perspective. Not lifting tractor to max height, just trying them out. Training tomorrow

As simple as they seem, the jack stands rock. Perspective is poor in the pic. In the extended position, as I am showing-that is about 7' off floor. Spring operated lifts at wheels(once u put weight on it settles to floor, springing up to roll easy once weight is off). Also spring assisted center column so u don't have to lift center column to position. You can set height with 2 fingers, threaded caps at end for fine adjustments.

I look at those auto/truck/tractor lifts and just go oh my.... :dance1:
What a great way to work under your equipment. Safely too, though I think I'd check everything six times before
I walked under something that heavy.

I was a bit paranoid when I first started using my hoist. But I pay no attention to that now. Mine is a 4 post drive-on. I think it's considerably safer than a 2 post with arms.

When was the last time you heard of someone being injured or killed by a falling hoist?

Can you tell me a little bit more about those vertical lift Doors you have. I have never seen any quite like that. Did you custom bend the radius in the track yourself or did you order it that way?

Lifts are by lift master
Doors are 18x10
Track was installed as per my design. I know when they had to correct the erroneous initial installation they had to wait for more track. I'm not sure if the bend was custom or they had something that was close. Bend is about 45deg
