New Shoes

Ordered the tires and received them in 2 days free shipping. Can't wait to put them on. I have a 2012 Polaris 500 efi and I wore out the Stock 489's. These should be a huge improvement over the stockers.

I put the Bighorns on my 6x6 Ranger a few years ago, what an improvement! Great traction and long life, they're worth every penny.

I actually got a thorn in my stock titan 489 in the first hour of having the machine and said man I hope this isn't the start of my problems for buying a new vehicle. I plugged that tire and put on about 600 more miles but they really wore down considerably. These bighorns seem to have a lot of deep tread on them and hopefully they will wear nicely.

I've got the Bighorns on my Gator 825 and they are a great tire. They are great in mud and snow yet still ride decent on hard packed...great all around tire.

Do they howl like the stock 489's?

Has anyone plowed snow with them? Looking at Reptile radials for my Sportsman.

I plowed snow with my Bighorns on the Gator last winter and they are awesome....I never needed to chain up....with my RTV that had 489's I had to put chains on to plow...not sure if it's all the tires are having true 4wd but the bottom line is the Bighorn Maxxis tires worked well.
