I get pretty serious! This is a 2000 JD LT133, it had that lousy plastic hood, it broke three times, so I tossed it and built this hood myself. It came off of a 1955 Massey Ferguson TO35, I chopped and channeled it to fit, its almost half scale from stock. I built the hood about 10 years ago, Im going to repaint the tractor with Ferguson colors and badge it as a John Ferguson! I can't help it.

On my 2012 mule, battery is under seat. No box needed

Sorry, I didnt respond earlier! Somehow I missed your post.
My other utv has the battery under the seat also, it dose make better sence.

Thats what it is supposed to look like!

and this is what it would look like after sitting in a barn for years! My Bride likes that mower, after I spend the time getting it to work!

I bought these a while back thinking they would look better than the round lights. They are way too short.

So I got theses coming.

The thin ones look better back here!

Its not a lot of progress but Christmas has me busy with family.

Next month doesn't look very promising either. Momma got new hardwood flooring for the house!

I forgot to put these pic in yesterday, it fit good, the paint didnt finish like I wanted it to, it has more gloss than the frame. I used a different spray paint, it was rustoleum all in one. Ill leave it for now.

I didnt like the layout of the dash, plus I want to add a couple of things.

I made a template!

The switch on the left is for a winch.

On the right side of the column is where the coffee mug holder will go.

My first vehicle was a 1973 CJ5 and you just reminded me of replacing all the gauges and fabricating a new dashboard for it. That was one of those projects that I did as a kid that I was really proud of.

I once owned a CJ5 with Mickey Thompson Dirt Dog tires. It was the most unstable vehicle I ever owned. It would spin like a top on snowy roads.
I once took it across a field with deep snow and got it stuck. I had to go out with my 1954 Jeep wagon to retrieve it

We just sold our 73, It was a rust free vehicle. The original owner bought it to pull behind his motor home, it sat in an airplane hanger for over 20 years. We were the third owners of it, the second owner( owned it for six months)put it in a ditch and skewed the frame, causing it to not steer at 35mph, it was kind of like a death wobble but not as violent. I had a buddy put it on his frame machine and pull the right frame rail forward 3/4" and that fixed it. I nuilt it for Pat but I got old and couldn't get in and out of it so she said to sell it. I bought her a 93 chevy Z71 that Im going to start on after the Mule.
