My neighbor has an old Kawasaki Mule 1000, 1980's vintage. It died a few days ago having no spark, after testing the Ignition Controller and crankshaft sensor as near as I can tell it appears the sensor is bad even though the IC does not test with the proper readings either. Problem is I can find no source for the IC or the sensor, everything that comes up is NLA, discontinued or obsolete. I cannot even find anything used or that can be subbed for the parts.
Personally I do not think it is worth putting the money into, especially since the last listed price for the IC I found was over $500.
After 2 nights of searching Google FU is exhausted, any suggestions? Preferably one that does not require selling a grandkid or two
or taking out a mortgage.
