New B2410

Well the day has finally arrived. New B2410 HSDB with 60" midmount mower delivered today. Work so busy that all I have had time to do is back it into the garage after the dealer dropped it off. Probably the weekend before I will have any "quality time" with the new addition. Still have snow on the ground and more snow coming in the next 36-48 hours so no mowing for some time yet. Too bad budget ran out before "wish list" did. No FEL or blower for this year. At least I will have the weekend to wash, wax and play with tractor in the garage even if I can't move any snow with it.

Thanks to all for very helpful guidance in final phase of purchase. Will continue to seek direction from the group as budget allows acquisition of implements.

Like you I've been itching to get some more seat time - had to be content with pushing some snow (and, uh, a little sod) around with the FEL. Mowing time will be here soon enough, though.

Congratulations no the new Tractor Lyle!

With as much snow as you're getting it sounds like it may be some time before you can put that mower to work.

As soon as you can squeeze two or three hundred out of the budget, look at getting a back blade - then you can start pusing that snow around!

I know very well how you feel, having gone through the arrival of our new "baby" so recently!

With all that snow an inexpensive backblade probably wouldn't break the bank, and would help cut that snow down to size (not to mention give you some quality time). /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
