My m59 is getting some new attachments soon!

I ordered a Catawba land plane and HD box scraper which are set to arrive this week!

Looking forward to getting my driveway in shape, as it's currently washing money away with the high amounts of rain we've been getting vs heavy snow fall this winter. Also it will be nice to have our fence line even for walking the dogs instead of risking ankle twisting each time :D

Anyone else have any of their attachments?

Also, at some point I want to add hydraulic top\tilt, does anyone have part numbers so I can DIY the kit?
I'm thinking i'll for sure want to add quick-connect couplers to my rear-hydraulics... and then from there it's just sizing the hoses and having them made, and deciding ram bore and stroke. Really, I've already standardized front and backhoe quick connect hydrualics to summit, so I'll probably re-use those, and then 1\2 or even 3\8 hose should be fine, so I guess I really just need to know about the ram specifics :) the rest I can order\fabricate myself. Thoughts?

Looks like kubota has T&T kit, I never knew... but I don't see dimensions either :/

I found spares on Messicks, for sure not paying 2000+ for their kit when the Summit kits are under 700$ total, and I'm thinking I can DIY it around 400-500$ depending if I can find surplus center RAM that works for the bore\stroke I need. They're such tiny rams they should be cheap.

I’ve got a Catawba grapple heading my way. I’ve heard good things about them, looking forward to it.

Yeah, reviews looked good and I called and talked to them and parts were in stock, and shipped within a couple days, and supposed to be delivered in under a week, not bad for coast to coast and huge parts!

They're out of stock on the 6'. :( $2100 seems like a good deal but couldn't find their shipping details. Do they deliver to property/residence? Where are they located? Shipping costs?

About 5 years ago I had local Kubota dealer add top n tilt plus swing to the M59. Absolutely love it. The ability to manage the box blade and power rake while sitting in operators seat is huge improvement over manual adjusting the 3pt linkage. Your productivity will increase by a least an order of magnitude and work ( grading / landscaping ) will look much better.
The power rake has its own piston and uses the 3rd port so I can swing the rack so the marbles, rocks, and debris are windrowed.

I should be able to find that info on their website. I'm not giving personal information up just to hear a sales pitch and perhaps, constant junk mail advertising. Besides, they don't have what I want in stock. 😏

They offered to ship to my place or depot... to residence or business would be days longer, for me it could be 2x as long and that's IF they deliver... I live rural, and ALWAYS battle with the trucking companies for delivery even though people get 40-50' modular homes delivered just fine, and have personally had 40' containers delivered by big rigs... they usually get to 1 or 2 spots on the drive to me and then call me and tell me to come meet them, it's a huge hassle... so now instead of dealing with that I just tell them the depot is fine and I drive 1hr 1-way to pick it up.

My item was not in stock either, I was told about 5-10 days to make it, but it shipped in 3-4 days after order.

They're in NC and shipping was around 500$ to the west coast. Same price I had to pay shipping from NY for another attachment from another company. I think we all miss pre-covid prices :/ but these are larger than a 4' pallet...

I ordered a 6' and a 7' based on their dimension PDF.

If you decide that you want the best T&T set, $1419.49 tax & shipping included.

Thanks. A couple questions:

  1. Do you fabricate your own hydraulic cylinders?
    • If yes, do you sell seal kits or do they use common off the shelf kits available all over?
  2. For the M59 I believe the 3PT can lift right under 4000lb, would you go with the 2.5" or 3"?

  3. Which brand and model hose do you use?
    1. 3\8 or 1\4?
  4. I use skid steer quick connects, so I won't need the AG style, not sure if that's part of your kit or not, but maybe save me some money :D if It is, ha ha :)

The Summit kits have electronic valves. You might want to consider this. The factory kits have manual valves with levers. The manual values allow for more finesse when operating. I much prefer the manual valves.

Ah yes good thing to note! Thanks

I bit the bullet last summer and installed three factory remotes with valve levers. It wasn’t cheap but I’m glad I did it. I really wish I would have ordered the remotes on the new tractor because it would have been a lot cheaper.

Yes, I build all of the top & tilt cylinders that I sell.
I do not sell seal kits, they are warrantied for as long as I am in business.
You can get about any cylinder seal that I use from MCmaster-Carr. Seals are always available, you just have to look.
2 1/2" cylinders with 1 1/2" dia rods. I have built many of these sets for the M59 & M62 TLBs, have had ZERO issues to date.
I use flexdraulic R17 hose. The cylinder hoses would be 3/8" hose.
I do not supply flat face couplers, maybe you should just take care of all of the hoses needed for this installation. A $178 credit including the shipping cost.

I'm fairly sure that I sent you a quote last year. Maybe take another look at the quote from Oct 26 2024.

Right on! And yeah, you probably did as I've bounced back and forth on these attachments and when I got a quote for repair that was more than both attachments ... well that made the decision for me.

Let me see what I need for hoses\connections and I'll be in touch, I'm more likely to get work done if I don't have to spend time figuring it all out so I may just get it all from you, and swap parts in the future LOL!

@MtnViewRanch been out with the flu, sorry for delay...

I had another question, since you're building these is there the option for different wall thickness on the cylinder body or do you only buy honed tube in one size to work with? With that question, I have another :D can you make a ram to my spec for another project or two?

/ New Attachments coming this week!! #18
Wall thickness is 3/16", I am in business to make T&T sets, not custom one-off cylinders that require ultra custom ends. I can't keep up with doing what I do without going down a rabbit hole for a one off that takes who knows how much time.
It would be different if I was not so busy, but I am and it would only be a $$$$ loser for me.
