Need guidance on BB for CT230

Well, mine is curved in the cutting edge. I was told that a straight cutting edge is not as efficient.

The HR2566 would be a good match, but costly.
The BB2566 is too light IMO, only 500lbs.

Thought i would throw my 2 cents in and if nothing eles let you see what a land pride BB looks like mine is a 66 in and i have a bobcat ct 335 hyd and i wouldnt wont anything bigger.

I have an old Gannon with retractable scarifier bar (manual). It's 6' and has 8 scarifiers. I pull it with a gear CK25. It pulls fine on the flat with a full box. but, up hill it's too much. I have loaded tires too. With the teeth down, it will stop it if it hits something tough, like a big root or a big rock.

I too like #8. It's the right size and has good features. Price is a little high. But, you couldn't do better new for under about $1500 for that box. And I wouldn't go over 66". I only did so because the price was right and it works for my limited uses.

Well lets start from top I thank everybody for still helping with the guidance of BB for me I am still looking I took another look at #8 it is out just too much wont deal for shape its in have to get front cutting edge replaced hinged one was worn too but not as bad allredy been reversed. If I am going to pay I dont want a have to work on it too especially after seeing that other one that was almost identical but further for half the price it Sold before I called.

Well I think I am over this I wound up buying a 5' made by Woods got to pick it up this weekend so I can some work done in mean time. I will work with it see how the 230 does but keep my eye out for a 66"(Thats what I wanted just could not find it for right price or it was beat up too much) this one is like new old guy looks like he did not use it he said it was too heavy for his tractor. Scarifers are all there and brand new looking. One thing I did notice was the way Woods holds thier scarifers in little different than most especially the ones that did not have them anymore. Done with a handle with it welded so it hold 2scarifers at one time also can be locked in so can not fall out nice thought.

Oh anyone want to suggest what size(width) disc I should look for ? Single-Tandem ? also I have black earth here CLAY should it be smooth or serrated

6' tandem with 20" or 22" notched disk blades is what I'm looking for for my Mahindra 3215. Notched blades seem to work better.
