Hi all. I just got a 1952 ford 8N at a yard sale for 1100.00 dollars with a yard box and finishing mower . Did I do go?

I think that is a excellent find. I was used to the front mounted distributor, and was always jealous of the side mount.

I like the way the 8n handled, and the visibility was excellent. And the engine on ours ran sweet.

Have a chat with someone in the Ford forum before you use the PTO for much...they are fine but there are caveats...like the usefulness of an overrunning clutch to keep implements from driving the tractor forward. Maybe one came with it? If not, not to worry..they are inexpensive.
