I think the check valve would solve the problem of the scarifier bar leaking down, but I don't know if it would solve the fitting popping out. I have the same problem with leakdown on my scarifier cylinder, and was thinking of doing the same thing with the check valve.

Would you need a pilot operated check valve, or can you just use a standard check valve?

Also,
I've bounced my box blade around a LOT, and have never once had the hose pull out of the fitting. Seems like there could be another issue somewhere, somehow???

I identified and fixed the quick disconnect problem. As soon as I'm not bandwidth challenged, I'll upload a video.

Good example of why I cringe when I see rear remote outlets jammed right next to all the 3-pt claptrap between the wheels. Sometimes I wonder if the manufacturer/installer forgets that people actually need to hook up hoses and implements back there....

With the lake level down and unlikely to rise since the county made changes to the drainage of the three lake chain, I've been mowing down cattails that are on the shoreline. Trouble is that every 30 minutes or so I need to stop and blow out my radiator.
