Yep! Good advice, also magnets are great for mounting work lights and remote cameras etc.

I use various magnetic items around my all metal shop. Good for hanging small items. These hooks are threaded into the base. Amazon has a wide variety of types and designs to get ideas. The paper towel holders are not the strongest. DC894803-6262-4963-AE0B-62928C8FBAD7.jpeg4D27C6A6-1C8A-4488-BB7C-D77C119446CB.jpeg

That is a good idea, thank you for sharing it. I have a couple of magnets from old CB antennas, one for each fender.

Ha CB’s. Did a little light in the tip of the antenna glow when transmitting? :). My brother had one.

The orange safety light you snap off on a low tree branch will always be the one you just replaced a few days ago, not the beat up old scratched one on the other side

you suddenly discover the drain pan you're using under the tractor is not nearly big enough, or you drop the plug or wrench in it....Dan.

You will see great ideas on this site by other tractor owners, realize you need to spend more money to implement these great ideas.

You are happy to find out you only broke some small cheap part, only to find out it's only sold as an expensive assembly.

You will get lazy when driving though a gate with your cab tractor, leaving the door open as you pass though. The very edge of the open door will gently grab the support column for the gate, ripping the door off and breaking it in several different ways.

It will snow several inches in October, when you dont have chains installed yet. You know it will warm up and melt in a few days, but your wife wants you to go out and plow your long steep driveway, that is lined by large pine trees. Not having chains, you will slide, and you will slide perfectly between two of these trees, and you will need to walk up to the house to grab your chainsaw and cut down one of these large trees that has your tractor pinned. Only to realize the stump you left is still too high and wont clear your sub frame mount for the backhoe. Your small chore of simply plowing several inches of snow, turned into an all day logging affair.

When you shop for a tractor, you will want to minimize cost by staying as mall and inexpensive as you can justify. The forums will preach that you should buy +1 size machine as a minimum... and you may well do this. After spending more than you feel comfortable spending, you will realize that you should have bought +3 sizes up, and you will eat the losses to this. After that is done, you will realize that +3 sizes again would have better yet!

Regarding keys: Over the years you have carefully assembled a cavernous supply of spare keys to equipment/machines that are all key start. So one day you decide clear out that pile and only keep the ones that you still need or still have the equipment/machines, only to realize that 90% of those keys all match and they match both your equipment and all the neighbor's equipment for the next 500 plus miles. It is a wonder that any of us still has some equipment in the yard!

Regarding magnet: You know that every tool box should have a good strong magnet handy to do that urgently needed "find the dropped little thingy" routine, only to determine, you forgot to put a magnet in this tool box!

Regarding chains: The weather man is never right and it will always snow the day before you plan to put them on or it will the day after you take them off!

When you have a new tractor that is also garage kept like the last one, you will soon discover that the ROPS, in an upright position, still doesn't make it through the door.

The little tiny plastic tool box the factory gives you is always too small and in a less than ideal location

Most insurance won't cover theft if the key is in it...
Tractor keys all fit other tractors of the same make and sometimes other makes as well. Removing the key doesnt stop most thieves, it is only good to keep young kids from starting them. If you leave the key in and it is stolen, just claim they must have used a common Kubota, etc key.
