LB1714 Thermostat

I have a Kioti LB1714 (1988 - first year of production). I require a new thermostat but having trouble sourcing. The old thermostat has a flange of 38 mm and post of 27 mm. Searches return part #s that are larger - probably for later model years. Any information would be appreciated.

Have you checked with your local Kioti dealer or taken the actual thermostat in to an auto parts store?

You would need number E5205-73011A. Your local Kioti dealer should be able to order it for you.

It seems that the part # is for a thermostat kit. Do you have an idea of what the kit is? Thermostat & gasket - or other pieces, possibly?

I just needed the 38mm thermostat. Googled and found an equivalent from Kubota.
Part #s are: Thermostat - 1E399-73012 and gasket - 16264-73270.
