John deere 410C pump

anyone know were to find an aftermarket hydraulic pump for a john deere 410c backhoe? dealer wants 5,000$ plus for a new one, Im fairly sure I can find cheaper with an off-brand pump but don't know where to find one.

Why not get yours rebuilt, or buy a rebuilt one?

I am trying to get prices to get it rebuilt now but I have not heard back yet, I had a mechanic come out to look at the machine and he said the pump needed new wear plates, and it would cost 2,000$ for him to do the job and thats out of my budget. I have heard that it can be cheaper/easier to find an aftermarket pump than it would be to fix/rebuild the old one.

I don't know what wear plates your mechanic was referring to as I see NONE. Here's the JD dealer price I found RE565679 Hydraulic Pump View/Update 4,190.97 USD

I believe that diagram is of the charge pump, not the main pump. the main pump has brass wear plates and comes apart in 4 sections.

Possibly the other way around as the pump in original parts photo can't suck oil so it isn't a charge pump. The charge pump I saw for a 410C is a gear pump with no wear plates. I'll post a photo of the 410C charge pump. Are you positive your machine is a 410C??

yes I am positive it is a 410c, ser no TO410CB729106 the pump that has problems is part# RE33603 I know the charge pump is good.

According to JDparts.com RE33603 subs to RE565679 which is the pump in the 1st parts photo I posted. Did your mechanic actually show you the wear plates in question? If your pump housing isn't cracked then more than likely your pump can be resealed.

ok, I think I have found a shop to rebuild my pump. Has anyone here removed one of these front mounted pumps before? does the hyd cooler and radiator have to be removed to get the pump out?
