I have a JD 355D that is overheating. I had a coolant leak, and I changed the hoses and coolant. The tractor started overheating and I changed the thermostat. There are no leaks from the water pump, but I still have the leak near the reservoir. It only happens when it overheats. I noticed that one side of the radiator is very hot, and the other side is much cooler. Any suggestions?

Blocked radiator pull it and back flush it.

f flushing doesn't solve the problem you may need to have it reworked at a radiator shop. The last time I had to rod out a radiator was on my 450 Deere dozer and did the job myself. If you don't have a lot of soldering experience this best left to others.

sounds more like radiator plugging to me as well.
but to hit on it. make sure you have correct antifreeze / water ratio. you can pickup a cheap tester at most automotive stores

It's a cross flow radiator and it should be hotert at the top and cooler as you go to the bottom of the radiator where the out let to the water pump is. If it hotter on one side than the other than I agree it has internal blockage.
