JD 4400 Power Steering/3PH Problems

Hi there, I just wandered if you ever found out why the power steering was heavy on your company tractor. I have the same issues with my 4400 fitted with the 300cx loader. Very annoying how heavy it is! Thanks Julian

I removed a tie rod end on steering ram and still have heavy steering. I've read about a suction filter, could it be sorry and causing my problems. Where is it located on the 4400? Thanks

I believe there is a pressure relief for the power steering circuit. If you have the manual it tells you how to check the pressure. I would start there.
