AT26188 subs to AT315816 which should fit your tractor just fine. Please overlook my poor control of mouse while attempting to make red circles as I have nerve damage that limits good control of my hands.

You're very welcome. Yes I utilize parts catalog. Having being formally employed by a JD dealer for over 21 yrs and served as a parts person for part of that time I understand JD's parts system better than the average person.

I don't remember ever seeing those metal shims in your photos nor do I find them in parts schematics.

I found same codes...but when I searched on the Google on the major pages there are no photos and so I could not identify them. I am going to try again..

There are 3 different thicknesses of shims. .002" is part number T25333, .010" thickness is T25334 and .030" thickness is T31290. The parts breakdown for a 2240 shows the shim part numbers. It is the same size shims.

Thanks for the heads-up. Actually the part numbers you listed are in the 1020,1120 parts catalog but are included in parts key 18 which is the control valve and I never thought to look there.

HI..

I could not work on PS yet, but recently the ventilator blade from my tractor broke (code: AT23180). I bought an used one, but it was too big. The original had only four blades, 4 holes, but the bought one had 5 blades, 8 holes and was match wider. Now I am waiting to find an other which is going to fit so the tractor at the moment it not working.

Hi,

now the water pump is broken... I searched the related posts, but I did not found yet, so I write here. I think that the JD9257 ball bearing needs to be fixed, so I have to dissamble the whole water pump. The ventilator axle is making buzzing and sturm - this was the cause that the ventilator fan was broken earlier. I am not able to accelerate with the tractor engine, because it is verry noissy. BUt if I remove the V-belt - everithing is working well, the engine is silent and I can accelerate maximally again.
So now I am obligated to repair again.........
I found a plastic ventilator fan, but I can not put to its place until I dont remove the water radiator from it.

JD9257 bearing, AR101549 seal, T30897 impeller, and new gaskets should be all you need. A pretty easy repair if you have a puller and a hydraulic press.

Hi everybody...

I removed the water pump and I am going to disamble it... Which part should I start, what is the right order to disamble?!

First, I think should I remove the T30720 hub from the axle? But how, with hyd press because with bearing puller is not working.. Maybe I should heat it?! I dont have a hyd press, but I can take it to neighbour machine repair shop.

Than - the axle needs to be push forward, also with hyd press until the JD9257 bearing comes out?!

Or, what should I do? The new pump repair kit is ordered, but first I have to remove the old axle with the bearing!

Thanks verry mutch for the your accorded help!

My experians is that that tractor did not came out with powersteering...is there a feedpipe on the right bottom side of the steeringcollom ? Or only a plug ? Is there a plug halveway up the steeringcollom facing backwards ? Then it can be of a lack of oil ?
