I'm not very familiar with the power steering in the 3000s.
Right now fluid comes out the steering column by the wheel, right sector shaft, and one of the gaskets.
I know I'll need a kit for the top seal and for the sector shafts. I see there's some that come with a seal and a insert to deal with a worn steering shaft.
What I don't know is, is there a seal that is supposed to keep the fluid in the bottom of the control valve and do they normally come with the kits, or is the fluid supposed to be down in the bottom of the box being held in by the sector shaft seals.
I haven't pulled the box out yet but I should have it out tomorrow.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
John
