News item: Sometimes it is less expensive to purchase the correct tools. Here a farmer has tried to avoid the cost of jackstands. :D

I thought that might have been the result of improper passing by the race combine.

Growing up on the farm, we always knew to park any pickups in plain view of the combines--never behind them. And usually we'd put them where the combines were not likely to travel.

I think you're both wrong, it's the Summer Combine Olympics, and that was the Pickup Truck Jumping competition. :)

Almost looks like a set of 1978 3500 Bowtie Jackstands.

I noticed that the combine is only properly supported by the left rear wheel. Hope the safety police give him a ticket as it's just not safe with the right rear only partly supported!

Either that or it's a bad result of watching NASCAR and trying to bump draft a combine so it harvests faster.....

That may be the best use for a Chevy I have ever seen!!

Notice to Chevy owners: This was a joke. Don't fire up your flamethrowers...

We had another thread get real ugly in the last day or so. This was meant in fun. You Chevy guys could make fun of a Ford in a situation like this if you wanted to and it would not bother me.

Notice to TBN'ers who know how to use Photoshop:

We have already seen the Chevy. It will be very susupicious if another pix shows up with a Ford under the same combine....................

May have been the only way to use the "farm use only" truck and still claim a tax deduction?

Thats the best method to do a grease job on both the truck and the combine and not have to lay on the ground. Makes U-joints real easy to get to.

Gordon, there IS a Ford underneath the combine.... it's just below the Chevy. You just have to look closer for the little blue line between the Chevy and the earth (it's hidden by the grass to some extent).
