For future use.. Always protect the tree bark while using it as an anchor. A rope or chain can girdle the tree killing it.

I also have an L3710, I've pulled fully loaded one ton dump trucks out of the mud, buried to the frame. I also routinely pull 3+ ton hay wagons. Rolling weight is different from dead weight. I'm sure your tractor will out pull most 4wd trucks. Mine has a FEL and loaded R4 tires.

It will pull really easy if you first judge it onto a rock sled etc...an inverted car hood makes a good one among other alternatives...!
